How to use these datasets without over-reading them
This page is intentionally short. It explains what our main datasets are for, how to read them at a practical level, and where users should be careful.
What we actually focus on
We are not trying to be a general content site. The main purpose of Build Or Not is to help users work with a few practical datasets, especially AI tools data and startup revenue data.
- AI Tools Data is the main dataset for spotting AI product movement, category changes, and market attention.
- Startup Revenue is the second core dataset for reviewing monetization and payment-related signals.
- Backlink Database and other supporting pages are secondary research layers, not the main story of the site.
How these numbers should be read
- Use the datasets to narrow your research, not to skip judgment. A strong signal should lead to deeper review, not instant conclusions.
- Traffic, revenue, and popularity signals are useful because they help with prioritization, but each one only describes part of the picture.
- The best workflow is usually: shortlist here, then validate with product review, pricing, positioning, and user feedback.
Where users should be careful
- Traffic does not equal revenue, and revenue does not automatically mean durable product-market fit.
- Some fields are estimated or aggregated from external sources, so timing gaps and partial coverage can happen.
- These pages are designed to improve decision quality, not replace direct operator research.
