HeyAgent supports various notification methods including email, Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, webhooks, and native desktop notifications on macOS and Windows. How to Use HeyAgent
Install HeyAgent globally using npm by running the command `npm i -g heyagent` in your terminal. This sets up the tool on your system for easy access.
Run the command `hey claude` or `hey codex` to start using HeyAgent with your preferred AI coding agent. This command initializes HeyAgent and begins monitoring your terminal sessions.
Configure your notification preferences by setting up email, Telegram, Slack, or other supported notification methods. This ensures you receive alerts in your preferred format when the AI agent requires input.
Continue your coding session as usual. HeyAgent runs in the background and automatically notifies you when Claude Code or Codex CLI stops and is waiting for your input, eliminating the need to constantly check your terminal.
